Congress Date: 12-14 May 2022

Online Access

The 5th International Congress of Eastern European Studies will be held between 12 -14 May 2022 in İzmir Democracy University Campus as a hybrid. Online presentations will be made through the web conference program called ‘Zoom’. The scientist who will make presentations at the congress must download the ‘Zoom’ program to their computers. Zoom sessions for online presentations are divided by day and hall. The Zoom session you will attend must be according to the day and hall which you take part in the CIEES 2022 Program.

For example;

In the published program, the scientist who will make a presentation at Halil İnalcık Hall on Thursday, May 12, should choose the session “Thursday, May 12 – Halil İnalcık” from the following sessions.

You can attend the congress in two ways.

1. First of all, confirm the day and the hall for the presentation according to the CIEES 2022 Program booklet. Open the Zoom Program. Type the meeting ID and password of the day and the hall where you will make the presentation and click the “Join” button. If you will attend the congress after clicking the Join button.After clicking the Join button, you will join the congress.

2. After confirming the hall and session you are take part in the program booklet, you can access the congress directly by clicking the links given above. After clicking on the links, your internet browser will automatically direct you to the zoom program.

Important notes:

  • We recommend testing your microphone and camera before joining sessions.
  • Make sure your first and last name are correct before joining the sessions.
  • Corresponding authors must be present at the online session specified in the congress program at the time and timeframe.
  • When the virtual presentation of the studies is finished, when other participants ask questions about the study, the responsible author is expected to answer.
  • Session screening will take place in Turkey time. (GMT+3)
  • For this reason, we ask the participants in different time zones to make their plans taking into account the time difference.
